How much do cleaning services cost in Malta?
General home cleaning and office cleaning start from €16 + VAT per hour, per cleaner, with a minimum booking of €80 + VAT. Deep cleaning starts from €4.00 per sqm + VAT, post-construction cleaning from €5.00 per sqm + VAT, and Airbnb turnovers from €40 + VAT per room. Products and equipment are included. Which cleaning service do I need?
Choose home cleaning or office cleaning for regular upkeep, deep cleaning for a one-off top-to-bottom clean, move-out cleaning at the end of a tenancy, post-construction cleaning after building work, and Airbnb cleaning for guest turnovers.
Is the hourly rate per cleaner or for the whole team?
The hourly rate is per cleaner. Two cleaners working for three hours is six cleaner-hours at the hourly rate, plus VAT. We recommend how many cleaners and hours your property needs, so you can plan the cost before we start.
Are cleaning products and equipment included?
Yes. We bring all cleaning products and equipment, and our products are eco and pet-friendly. If you have allergies or specific product preferences, tell us when you book.
Is Sparkly Malta insured?
Yes, Sparkly Malta is fully insured.
Do you offer regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning?
Yes. Regular cleaning can be set up weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, and we offer flexible scheduling so visits fit around your routine. For offices we can plan around your working hours.
Do you clean windows, carpets and upholstery?
Yes. We offer window cleaning and upholstery cleaning, and carpet and mattress cleaning are available too. These are quoted per job, so contact us with photos or details.
Do you clean outside Valletta and Sliema?
Yes. We cover all of Malta, including Sliema, St Julian's, Valletta, Gzira, Msida, Birkirkara, Mosta, San Gwann, St Paul's Bay, Naxxar, Floriana, Hamrun and Attard, as well as Swieqi, Qormi, Mellieha, Rabat and Mdina. If your town is not listed, contact us and we will confirm.
Can I get a quote before booking?
Yes. Tell us your location, property type and size, and what you need cleaned. For deep cleaning we offer a free photo or video assessment and give a fixed price afterwards. For other services we send a clear quote before we start.

What is the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?
Regular cleaning maintains a property that is already in good condition. Deep cleaning is a one-off, top-to-bottom reset that includes steam cleaning and disinfection, and goes into the areas regular visits skip. It is priced per square metre rather than per hour.
Do you clean Airbnb and holiday lets?
Yes. Our Airbnb cleaning is a turnover service from €40 + VAT per room, with photo proof and an inventory check. Linen service may carry an additional fee depending on the package.
Do you offer end-of-tenancy cleaning?
Yes. Move-out cleaning is quoted based on the size and condition of the property. Contact us for a quote.
